Artistic Director/Conductor, Bakersfield Ecumenical Baroque
Orchestra (BEBO)
Bakersfield, CA • 2012-13
Created, organized, and conducted a baroque ensemble for local
churches in Bakersfield.
Accomplishments: Created a small baroque orchestra consisting
of strings and organ with co-founder and spiritual director Aaron
Conner.  The group has successfully performed the works of Corelli
and Locatelli in their first concert and are planning their next concert
for April ’13.

Executive Director/Founder, Carothers Foundation for the
Advancement of Music (CFAM)
Bakersfield, CA • 2012-13
As founder and executive director, I created CFAM to fund multiple
orchestral endeavors in the city of Bakersfield, to fund existing
groups in Bakersfield and to lead the way in developing diverse and
thought-provoking concerts.
Accomplishments: Incorporated in 2013 in the state of California,
CFAM is currently applying for 501(c)3 status to receive charitable
contributions.  Since its inception in Dec
ember '12 CFAM has raised
over $2,000.

Director of Choral Activities, Southwestern Oregon Community
Coos Bay, OR • 2012
Plan the college’s choral programming. Direct and plan rehearsals for
a multiple choir program.  Teach other classes as needed.
Accomplishments: Developed program’s social-networking
component. Led recruitment efforts through in-print and digital
marketing. Expanded choral library. Implemented staggered
schedules by section to maximize vocal rehearsals.
Reorchestrated music to fit appropriate venue. Spearheaded concert
marketing campaign, increasing audience attendance by more than

Worked in-depth with international instructors and an orchestra
honing master’s-level coursework, culminating with a master’s thesis
Accomplishments: Rehearsed and performed more than 3
concert’s worth of material. Composed and conducted two original
compositions, “Step Right Up! (A Carnie Scherzo)” and “Of Butterflies
And Industry.”
